Synopsis

Mijeong(43) is waiting for her daughter Roa(17) after finishing work at her restaurant. For Mijeong, surviving day by day is a burden. A stranger named Taesung enters the closed restaurant. The darkness provides them with the freedom to take off the weight of a suffocating day. Amid confused identities, these three people continue with their lives, living and loving on their terms. What keeps their unstable lives from falling apart is their compassion for each other.

식당 일을 마치고 딸 ‘로아’(17)를 기다리는 ‘미정’(43). 그녀는 하루하루를 살아내는 것이 버거운 짐이다. 시간이 흐르고 닫힌 식당을 들어서는 건 낯선 남자 ‘태성’이다. 어둠은 그들에게 질식할 것 같은 하루의 무게를 벗는 자유를 허락한다. 정체성의 혼란 속에서 각자의 방식대로 사랑하며 삶을 연장하는 세 사람. 이들의 위태로움을 지탱하는 것은 서로에 대한 연민이다.
